Our Cattery is registered in NRR (Norwegian Federation of Cat Breeds) and FIFe.

Korat is a very rare breed! Not only in Norway, but all over the world!
We want to help expand the breed and make it more known in Norway and therefore we have kept both our own
and imported Korat cats in the breeding, to avoid inbreeding and get healthy and nice individuals!

Why buy a cat from a serious breeder?

💜 So, You’re Wondering: «How Much Does a Cat Cost?»

That’s a fair question – and one we get a lot.

The short answer: It depends. But here’s the story behind the price.

💙 Not All Cats (or Breeders) Are the Same

When you buy a purebred cat from a reputable breeder, you’re not just paying for a pet – you’re supporting someone who’s invested time, money, and care into raising healthy, well-adjusted kittens.

  • ✅ Health testing for genetic diseases
  • ✅ Vet care, vaccinations, deworming
  • ✅ Socialization and proper nutrition
  • ✅ Registration and pedigree documentation
  • ✅ Support even after the kitten goes home

These breeders don’t cut corners. They don’t mass-produce kittens. They choose homes carefully and often lose sleep making sure every kitten gets the best start in life.

💜 What About Cheaper Kittens?

Sure, you might find a kitten for less. But it’s important to ask:

  • Has it been properly socialized?
  • Are the parents health-tested?
  • Will the breeder be there if you need support later?

Backyard breeders or kitten mills often skip these steps. That can lead to higher vet bills or behavior issues down the road.

💙 It’s Okay If You Don’t Want a Purebred

Rescue cats are amazing too. They need loving homes and usually cost less – often under $200 with vaccinations and spay/neuter included.

Just know that when a breeder quotes you a price, it reflects more than just the cat – it reflects care, responsibility, and ethical practices.

💜 To You Who’s Thinking About Bringing Home a Kitten

Take some time to learn about the breed you’re interested in – their needs, temperament, and quirks.

Reach out to a few breeders. Ask questions. Request references from previous kitten owners. Check out their websites or social media, and trust your instincts about who feels responsible and transparent.

Just as breeders look for the right homes, you have every right to expect honesty, care, and professionalism in return.

Thanks for taking the time to do it right – it makes a world of difference for the kittens and the people who raise them.
